The retreat is held at Purnati Arts Centre in Gianyar just south of Ubud.
Your accommodation is traditional Balinese Lumbungs which are modern, wooden structures inspired by classic Balinese rice barn.
Built with traditional materials for both interiors and exteriors, each room has A/C, ceiling fan and generous en-suite bathrooms. Each bedroom is accessed by a private outdoor stairwell-entrance. The first floors have private balconies overlooking the gardens. Downstairs on the ground floor is a private dining area where you can relax and reflect if you want to enjoy some quiet time.
We arrange for our drivers to pick you up from the airport on arrival and transfer you back or to your next destination which is included in the retreat cost.
Check in is from 2pm but earlier arrivals can be arranged with notice. You can order some refreshments and meals and relax by the pool in the cosy Bales!

On the last day after yoga we come together with a closing circle followed by our buffet breakfast then end of retreat.
Check out time is midday but you can leave your bags at reception or get a late check out if your flight is in the evening and your transfer will be organised.
Many guests like to stay a few days longer after the retreat and many join up spending more time together exploring other locations.

You must have at least 6 months validity on your passport to gain entry or you will be refused as immigration authorities are very strict.

Sue is a wonderful yoga teacher. Sue is intuitive, and can instruct a class for participants with a range of levels and needs. Personally I find that Sue’s classes offer the right amount of challenge, without pain, but always growing and developing to the next level.
I highly recommend Sue for all bodies wanting to become more flexible and adaptable.
Kellie Pearce
Sue gave me my first yoga lesson 25 years ago. It was my pleasure to work with Sue on many yoga retreats over the years. She is a highly experienced, gifted and dedicated yoga teacher who was a Pathfinder in yoga retreats.
You will be in wonderful hands.
Grant Hawkins
Sue Hawkins was the original founder and director of Byron Bay Yoga and Yoga Health Retreats and is a senior qualified yoga instructor and retreat leader and has been practicing yoga for over 40 years. Sue has taught students from all over the world and continues to teach classes in Nana Glen and Coramba running retreats in NSW.
Sue has hosted retreats for over 25 years in Byron and internationally and spent 4 years living with her family in Bali. Having traveled through Asia and explored many places Sue has a wealth of experience and Bali is very dear to her heart.
Having had a life change a few years ago Sue had a break from running retreats but her passion and dedication to yoga has led her back on the yoga journey path and this will be the first Bali retreat at Purnati for 5 years.
Purnati is like home away from home for Sue and the staff are like family. I am sure you will feel the same way when you join this retreat.
